The United States Independence | Celebration Week at America House Chisinau

Next week the USA celebrates Independence Day, the Fourth of July.
And as it is given, America House Chisinau prepared for you a lot of interesting ways to celebrate this one.
We decided to go big and made a whole week of activities dedicated to our visitors.

On June 28, at 4 PM, we invite EFL Teachers to attend a Facebook live session dedicated to American Culture Resources.
In public elementary, secondary, and higher education institutions, teachers might face challenges in finding useful and applicable information about American history, government, literature, and other areas. On June 29, at 4 PM, we invite high school students to join our special Jeopardy competition to find out how much they know about the United States. The United States is already in love with Jeopardy! And it is time for you to try it as well. Jeopardy features a quiz competition in which contestants are presented with general knowledge clues in the form of answers, and must phrase their responses in the form of questions.

On June 30, at 2 PM, America House Chisinau invites middle and high school students to travel virtually to the US
Using the VR technology the participants will see USA's greatest places (and not only on the Earth).

On July 1st, at 4 PM, America House Chisinau invites students to meet Samantha Ludwig, a native American, who will reveal how Americans celebrate Independence Day. Independence Day, held on the fourth of July, has a rich history and is celebrated by almost every American, but how each American celebrates can be different. Join our Meet an American event to find out more about the history of this holiday.

And the cherry on top of our celebration week will be an open-air party, in the America House Chisinau Back Yard!
