UNICEF Moldova: Education Officer, NO-A (TA, 364 days)_for Moldova nationals only



UNICEF Moldova is hiring a Education Officer, NO-A (TA), to provide professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for the education programmes/projects through the application of theoretical and technical skills in researching, collecting, analyzing and presenting technical programme information while learning organizational rules, regulations and procedures to support the development and formulation of the Education Programme within the Country Programme.

Qualifications and experience: 

The following minimum requirements:

  • A university degree in one of the following fields is required: education, psychology, sociology, social science, or another relevant technical field.
  • A minimum of one year of professional experience in programme planning, management, and/or research in education is required.
  • Fluency in Romanian and working knowledge of English.

The following desirables:

  • Experience working in a developing country as well as experience working in the UN or other international development organization. 
  • Language: Knowledge of Russian or another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French or Spanish) or a language relevant for the local context.
