National Deputy Team Leader - Design / Resident Engineer

In the framework of implementing the Project „Improvement of Water Supply in Moldova Centre“, CES is looking for a candidate for the position of National Deputy Team Leader - Design / Resident Engineer:

• Official Development Assistance (ODA) Project
• Half-time - Water Supply Detailed Design, and Tendering;
• Full-time - Construction supervision, Resident Engineer;

Education:

• University degree in civil engineering with at least 10 years’ experience;

General professional experience:

• At least 7 years of professional experience, design for mainly water and wastewater systems, and for construction supervision for water or wastewater systems;
• thorough knowledge of design guidelines in Moldova;
• sound experience in water supply design;
• experience in administration of FIDIC based contracts;
• sound experience in construction supervision;
• thorough knowledge of procurement rules;
• good command of English;

Specific professional experience:

• Expert knowledge on administration of FIDIC based (Red Book, etc.) conditions of contracts;
• Proven experience and knowledge of the design approval requirements in Moldova and in submitting projects to national authorities to obtain the necessary approvals;
